Executive Summary

Systems Kenya Solutions is a leader in computer and Internet consultancy, web design, web development and software development. We are currently involved in a country-wide initiative to develop websites for all schools in Kenya. Through consistent development of top-class services we have built a huge client base that spans from business entities to international bodies.

Systems Kenya developed the mobile-friendly exam-paper platform on the Safaricom mobile portal, www.safaricom.com (accessible via mobile phone). This platform is managed by Elimu, an education-content provider.

Background

Systems Kenya Solutions is an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) company that was set up in early 2007 to enhance adoption of ICT by various sectors in the country. Initially, our biggest clients came from the business spheres but with time it had clients from a large cross-section of sectors including non-governmental organizations.

To accommodate its growing presence in the industry, Systems Kenya relocated to its new, more spacious offices on the 4th Floor of the Kenya Commercial Bank Building along Enterprise Road, Nairobi.

Today, Systems Kenya Solutions is a powerhouse in ICT in Kenya and continues to serve an ever-growing base of corporate and individual clients providing them with cutting-edge IT solutions.

Technical Partner

Systems Kenya Solutions is the official technical partner for the 'A Website Per Learning Institution' (AWPLI) Initiative. The initiative, which is run by Elimu Holdings Ltd, is building world-class websites for every secondary school, primary school, college, polytechnic, university and nursery school in Kenya at no cost to them.

The initiative is the biggest of its kind anywhere in Africa and seeks to bring the entire education sector to the internet. This is enhancing the way students, teachers, parents and the general public access education in the country.
